How it all began!

I started Ruff Life in 2009 when my dog Jack had an accident on the beach in SC and the community came together and helped me pay for his hip surgery.
From that day on, I wanted to help other dogs in need and start a company and non-profit charity to sell my apparel, create all natural dog products and eventually start a dog food and treat business.  
My hopes and dreams came together for over 10 years until Covid19 shut down my business and charity.  
I have sold off the majority of my brand and closed it's doors in 2022 but I still love making dog collars and am proud to design something i am proud of and will hold up to the strongest of dogs. 

We have been blessed along the way with rescue puppies and slobber kisses.  Jack was the best dog and his story was truly amazing.  I will always be grateful for the community that helped me save Jack and my days with him on the beach in Hilton Head, SC/.

Made in the USA!  I have designed and created my own dog collars that are strong, unique and durable. 
The woven/jacquard ribbon was made just for my company and cannot be found anywhere else.  Jacquard/woven ribbon is a durable fabric ribbon that sew together with a special machine and hold up to the toughest dog and dog scratches on the ribbon.  I hand sew each collar onto heavy duty waterproof polypropylene webbing/backing for more durability and stands up to the smell tests.  This webbing holds up to 400lbs and is the strongest I could find in the industry.
